April 28th, 2008

Had a good time yesterday!
Surprise struck me when I got a invitation of lunch @ Nandini Ma’am home.

Windfalls are good. So was the fish fry :p

To much of Home!

April 28th, 2008

I was realli tired of home.
So I ran away to Kolkata.

But what the hell @ HCL they put back to BBSR again.
That not accepted.
So I ran back to Kolkata, thanks to the residencial problem at Kolkata, I had to come back to deal.

Raining Hell!

August 13th, 2007

Overcasts sky & humid air.
Thundering cloud with shiny flair.
Here comes the rain.
With all its funfair.

Rain, breaths life.
But not out here.

Kolkata sucks when it rains.
Water logging just blocks the lifeline.
Transportation almost fails.
The rickshaw, Auto-Rickshaw & taxi, like hungry vulture capitalise on the situation & increases prices to many folds.

What ever it is; I had to miss class for the first time in the semester.
I lost upon my 100% attendance, which I was planing to keep throughout the semester.
I think I should do my soft-skill assignment on ‘feasibility of boat service in rain season in Kolkata’.

Anyway, compromise is a part of life, better I learn to live with it.

Did I forgot to tell, I got my eyes infected due to the morphing weather…?

Identity Crises!

August 12th, 2007

Who am I…???

I thought I knew, But now I am not so sure.
At IBS (Kolkata), I had my preparatory classes for P.G. in Mgmt.

The classmates names me ‘Question Bank‘.
Guess what….I use to ask a lot of questions. :)

My soft-skill teacher named me ‘Jack in the box‘.
Think I use to pop Up with new answer or questions.

My IT teacher named me ‘Mr. A‘.
With me in the class, progress was to happen with lot of discussion.

And now that I am with my regular classes…
My new classmates named me ‘FAST….SuperFast‘.

Now the situation has become such that,
Nobody recognise me with ‘Ashis Kumar‘.
Even my teachers are more comfortable with ‘FAST‘.
With so many Identity, I barely remember my real name.

Its good in a respect, I always, within, wanted to lose myself.
Hope, I will learn to appreciate this facet of life.

A counselor for sure!

August 11th, 2007

They say problems are a part of life.
I say life is a part of a bigger problem.
No, not again! I am not here to lecture on philosophy.

I just wanned to say;
I was & am a problem.
And I had been trying, negotiate them by counseling my self,
Although I never realised it until I met a real councilor.

No one understands me better then myself.
No one understand my problems better then myself.
No one counsel me better then myself.
But its always good to have professional counselor standing by;
to whom I can always fall back :)
Thank U Nandani Biswas.
